Here’s a neat way to dress up the champagne flutes for your event (wedding season anyone?). White is a great colour but you could use your wedding colours. This same technique would also work to decorate little bits of glassware for favours at the event. Things like tiny vases, votive holders, little bowls are all fair game. There’s very few words with the tutorial but the pictures are straightforward. The flowers are glued onto the glass afterwards but I know from experience if you have a mechanical hold clay will stick on just fine. That means have your clay go over an edge or part of your piece where it forms a hold. So all around a dish or up over an edge.
Completely different than making roses for glassware… this sort of rose is what I have students make for my adult intro to clay class. It makes a great rose, in moments, with very few techniques apart from pinch and roll.
