With the fairy garden
craze I’ve been making polymer clay props from my regular bead designs for local customers. Here’s a Sculpey tutorial for a basic fairy house. The project by Laura Kelly, geared towards kids, could be made fancier with texturing, colour mixes, more detailing and so on. The idea is great however you go about it. And, really, my daughter used to use my scrap clay to make herself sandbox props which would have made adorable fairy garden decorations. Alas, I don’t think I’ll convince her to revisit the idea these days!
