When I teach classes for new clayers I always do a variant on this rose to give people confidence. You can make a great little rose bead in moments and if you hate it, squish and try again. Most people love ’em and take ’em home to cure along with whatever else we create. Here’s a great photo tute for it. I’d probably bake a little longer than the time she recommends because I’m paranoid. Add a jump ring into the side of the rose and seal with a little TLS (liquid clay) to make your rose into a dangle.
