This is an oldie but goodie – making micro mosaics with polymer clay “tiles”. Kael Mijoy builds her mosaic based on a simple sketch. She uses a handful of bright colours from her scrap box. Using plastic canvas she press the square tile pattern, bakes the clay and then cuts the tiles up. These tiles are placed on to a base of clay in the sketched design and then baked together.
Your mosaics could be hung as wall hangings or trimmed into insets for jewellery or cut into shapes for magnets.
