Polymer Clay Macaron Ornaments

November 16, by Elaine Robitaille. 2 Comments

french-macaron-ornaments-

I’m busily cranking out ornaments for my last few weeks of holiday sales and craft fairs and I’m mostly making critter ones but these sweet macaron ornaments caught my eye. I could totally see a little stack of these for your mini tree, mixed in with the sugar plums and Christmas puddings. Mindy from GetCreativeJuice keeps the whole tutorial dead simple so there’s no problem in making some adorable treats.

One tip: either tweak the end of your eye pin so it’s crooked (and the clay holds it better) or use a larger jump ring with the open end embedded in the clay instead of an an eye pin / eye hook. Straight pin ends slip out of clay much too easily.
