Of course, clay can help you organize, too. I’m talking about using it to make attractive holders for what needs organizing. Gabrielle of Design Mom does that in this tutorial for a set of vanity containers. I’d probably go with oven bake clay if your containers will be anywhere near liquids but either way, leave the jar in until the air dry clay has dried or the polymer clay has baked. That way your piece will retain it’s shape better.
You can also just cover otherwise boring jars with either clay and that way you’d need less clay and have a sturdier end piece to boot. I used to keep paintbrushes in old clay covered bottles and jars in my studio. They were every colour of scrap and decorated polymer clay you could imagine… I’d probably go with the more relaxing white these days.
