Sometimes, the best new ideas happen when you mix old ideas (and old canes, for extra credit). This project makes intricate-looking spirals by using very simple base clay canes combined over and over again into another simple cane. Little bullseye canes built up and recombined and finally jelly rolled into fabulousness.
The clay cane tutorial goes on to show some of the pieces she’s made with the beads she’s made using these canes and coordinating clay beads.
