Faux wood is one of those great clay imitators. You can use it to make decorative jewellery pieces, of course, but what I found it best for was dollhouse miniatures and fairy garden pieces. Here’s a tutorial(English translation), from Creabijoux, for a faux wood grain block. Typically, the faux woods I’ve made have been marbled logs but this one works like a cane with slices taken off the end of it and used as a sheet.
