I initially thought these were the German wood beads I used to buy sometimes for my jewelry making but nope, they’re clay. The tutorial isn’t actually aiming for a faux, it was just my first impression of the beads. The variety of simple, fun coloured beads are strung randomly on long cord for a trendy necklace. This sort of beadmaking is a great introductory project for clayers interested in bead making since there’s not much involved in colour mixing or finish work but you still end up with a current and on trend piece.

Thank you so much for sharing my project! Hope you’re having a lovely weekend 🙂
