These little ghosties, by Jen Walshaw of Mum in the Mad House, are made with air dry clay over a shaper. The tutorial uses a styrofoam ball as one of the shapes to drape the ghost over but if you do this with oven bake clay use crumpled aluminum foil in the glass and skip the styrofoam and plastic wrap.
Pop your ghost over one of those little LED tealights or a glow stick and voila, a very cute and mildly spooky little ghost.
You can mix this up a bit to make jack o’ lanterns (paint your clay orange) and drape your piece neatly to make a spherical shape with a gap large enough for a tealight. Cut a second circle out for a lid.Looking for air-drying clay? We highly recommend Das Air dry clay, we have been using this product for over 30 years.
