I’m always looking for good ideas to use up scraps – I make a lot of scraps – and this neat effect from PinkLily is a good one. The tutorial (English version) reminded her a bit of the way the coloured squares in a Rubik’s cube looked. I think it’s a good way to get a fairly clean grid square pattern with a clay design sheet.
Plus, this type of grid is the cover for old style lights. You may be able to find some fairly easily. It makes great clay textures.
