I don’t mean literally pop. That would be messy. I mean visually show up more. Adding marbles, rocks and crystals to clay can make for a really interesting piece. The more translucent the addition, though, the less it’ll show up without a little help. When you buy stick on rhinestones they have a metallic backing because of this. The opaque, metallic backing reflects light back up through the translucent part. With clay and embellishments you can accomplish this several different ways.
