Here’s a cute tutorial for Mother’s Day (or for dad’s, grandparents… anyone). I remember getting pictures from my kid’s sitter where they made little fingerprint paint hearts. The picture is still tucked into an old album.
The poster suggests white spray paint to cover flaws in your clay and hot glue. I’d recommend plain old white acrylic paint since clay reacts poorly with sprays sometimes. And a stronger glue than hot glue – something like super glue or E6000 Craft Glue . I never had any success with hot glue and clay for the long run.
