It’s Canada Day here – great summer weather, the local county fair and rodeo and a small fireworks show later – and I’ve got a Canada Day craft that uses jewelry clay, an air drying resin based clay from the folks who make Envirotex Lite. There’s sparkly extra bits including powders and crystals to help blind out the whole deal.
The same craft would work just about identically with oven bake clay if you wanted to go that route and obviously, any stamp and combo (maybe a 4th of July theme?) of accessories could be used for your own piece.Looking for air-drying clay? We highly recommend Das Air dry clay, we have been using this product for over 30 years. Check out their Das White Air drying clay and their Terracotta Air drying clay version for a natural pottery feel. For larger crafts we recommend buying your air drying clay in bulk
