Amy of This Heart of Mine sent me the link to her image transfer tutorial. As far as image transfers go, this one is basic. The approach, however, is both sweet and perfect. She uses a simple contact transfer (what we call the silly putty transfer in my house) to make little fridge magnets with her children’s doodles. The resulting clay transfers are trimmed, baked, outline or embellished a little and magnets added.
If your fridge is like mine, you have SCADS of doodles and magnets and notes and photos. And the primary doodler in my house is in her second year of high school. I wonder if she’ll let me turn her pictures into fridge magnets…
