Polymer clay makes great embellishments for just about anything. This tutorial is for an air dry clay but the idea works equally well for polymer clay. Use clay in your favourite rose colours to whip up a few embellishments. Arrange your flowers and leaves as they should go and cure. Give them a coat of varnish or acrylic details. Give your box a coat of new paint or a good cleaning and then use a strong glue to attach your clay embellishments.
This is also a great way to personalize a boring but otherwise good box. Children’s names, people’s favourite animals or a special flower are all good embellishing details.
