Amy of Then She Made shares a simple ornament project using stamps and clay. With a little care the ornament can be personalized and turned into a great keepsake for future years. My box of ornaments has lots of variations on this with messages on the back from various years.
This project would work equally well with air dry clays since the effect comes from the tools and final touches rather than the clay and colours you use. It’s also a great one for the kiddos to do. They could then sign or fingerprint the reverse and give it to a family member.
Looking for air-drying clay? We highly recommend Das Air dry clay, we have been using this product for over 30 years. Check out their Das White Air drying clay and their Terracotta Air drying clay version for a natural pottery feel. For larger crafts we recommend buying your air drying clay in bulk
