If you make mini foods – and all clayers should give it a try – you may need some syrup for those tiny waffles and pancakes at some point. This same technique makes great sauces and soups as well. Andisa Charms mentions that Translucent Liquid Sculpey isn’t her preference for this technique and I sort of agree – if you’re going to use TLS make sure it’s the newer “clear” one which works great for this sort of thing. Regular TLS works well for icings that don’t need to be so clear.
