This tutorial(English translation), by Dorthe of Ars Textura, makes one of the better Fimo polymer clay succulents that I’ve seen. It’s not precisely miniature but it’s a decent looking “faux”. Mix a little translucent in with that green and I bet you’d get an even more realistic plant leaf.
Dorthe says she used hairspray to get a bit of a realistic shine but I’d probably just use a varnish, then wiped off to only get a subtle shimmer. I’m always cautious about adding other finishes to my clay. A little chalk pastel works great along with paint washes.
