This is a Mother’s Day project for the younger set – little ring dishes embellished to look like flowers or starry skies. These are made from Model Magic, a really great air dry material from Crayola. It’s fun, easy to clean up, can be painted or coloured with markers with ease or bought in colours. Little bowls like these will make sweet trinket dishes and need a minimum of crafting.
If your kiddos are a little older or patient, you could use oven bake polymer clay. The star stickers could be swapped out for glitter or star shaped confetti – just bake it into the clay, it won’t melt – and you could make the flower bowls with a huge variety of colours.
Whichever way your crafty kids go, make sure they sign and date the bottom so Mum can remember when this treasure was made.
