I was planting my carrots and peas today – early for here! – and so I went looking for posts about clay veggies and stumbled across this one. Of course, this one isn’t clay, it’s marzipan but the process is similar especially for basic, quick clay pieces. You could do this with coloured air dry clays for an even more similar experience but I’d probably make a plate of little mini clay veggies for fun or for beads. For little stems and leaves you could use coloured wire or thin pieces of clay reinforced with liquid clay
Tutorials like this underline how you don’t need many details or colours to make an effective presentation. Sometimes it’s a basic colour and a simple sculpted shape that communicate best.
