I love when people use their clay to make useful stuff. In this case, Rachel from Doodle and Stitch makes a fun phone holder from air dry clay. Air dry clay is ideal for this sort of project because it will eventually cure or dry completely on it’s own. Polymer clay would need a prolonged bake time to cure the whale head or to use a foil ball or weight in the centre to reduce the clay volume and guarantee proper curing in the oven.
You could probably tweak this for all sorts of animals although the whale is pretty darned cute.
