My mom is a jewellery lover so I make a lot of pieces for her. Some of those have been items with mementos or other qualities that made them special. Amy chose to use clay to make her mom a necklace with a sand dollar and a monogram. The freehanded the sand dollar from pearl coloured clay and then assembled the gift necklace.

You can use your clay to make a charm or component that is perfect for your mom. In my mom’s case I could pick her favourite flower or maybe a raven for one of her favourite poems. Maybe your mom loves books or the perfect cup of tea and a whimsical charm of those would be just right.

That got me pumped for summer! Maybe I’ll make a shell themed line of jewelry for a summer line? Beauty! Thanks for the inspiration!
