This is a tutorial, from Katie of KatersAcres, for mosaic beads using foils. The effect is a faux dichroic glass one which is fun. A couple of notes: As Katie mentions at the start of the tutorial, it is part of her year of Lisa Pavelka projects and the hardest part about the tutorial is applying the foils. You may need to substitute materials here and there or get creative if you can’t get the right Pavelka branded stuff.
As for foils, I always found the same issue with using anything but the most basic foils: they can be a pain to use. Practice getting them to stick to your clay before you do the tutorial. They’re super cool looking when you get them working.
