The New Bead Star Could be a Polymer Clay Artist!
March 29, 2008 |
Did you see the announcement for Beadworks’ new contest, Bead Star? Enter a jewelry design that uses simple stringing techniques and you could win some major prizes along with a trip for two to Bead Expo in Santa Fe next year!  The winning designs will be featured in Bead Star, a special edition magazine. The winning designs will also be auctioned off to raise money for the American Heart Association. To read the rules visit the Bead Star website. The deadline is May 6th, 2008.Â
So there is not a polymer clay category, what’s an artist to do? Well 25% of your design in any of categories can be polymer clay. That means you can make an amazing focal bead with clay to fit any of the categories. The heart category is open to any medium with the heart theme and that is another way for you to show off your polymer clay beadmaking skills.
Have fun and shine brightly polymer clay stars!
