Star Bright

November 29, 2007 |

star.JPGDo you see what I see?  A star ornament by Louise Fischer Cozzi (PDF) that calls for translucent clay, gold leaf paint and some holiday inspired text.  The example uses the words from “Twas the Night Before Christmas.”  You could use lines from your favorite holiday story, scripture, or just some merry and bright greetings.

*I use Photoshop to create the text and reverse the image before printing it out.  Experiment with fonts and text sizes.

Oh I totally like Louise’s ornaments. Actually this etching technique is my favourite for the last few weeks - I don’t seem to get tired of it.
