This is one of the fondant sculpting tutorials that applies perfectly to air dry or oven bake clay. So many of them do! I even bought myself Wilton fondant tools for my clay ages ago since they were easier to find than purpose made clay sculpting ones. So, make adorable succulents and use a little paint or chalk powders or mica powders for the dots and details. Want a few more succulent ideas? Sara has a couple of others and a whole pile of other goodies in her tutorial directory – just scroll down.
If you’re using polymer clay, bake it accordingly. Consider a little clear coat to protect your paint or powders and give your plant that waxy matte sheen succulents have.
