Continuing along with the idea of organizing your clay and using your clay to organize you is this tutorial for a desk clock from Teri of The Lovely Drawer. Teri uses two colours of air dry clay to create a nice subtle marble in her project. You could do this project with oven bake clay as well. Weight it down while you bake it – I’d use wood or pans with weights – and leave the weight on the piece as it cools so it flattens out well.
As Teri points out, mix your colours and the style and size of your clock findings to suit your own tastes and decor.
