Bead Star is the American Idol of jewelry design contests. Polymer clay shines in more than a few categories in this competition. I have two designs as finalists! (pictured here) I see there are polymer clay entries in the plastic category and one in seed bead category that caught me eye. My work featuring polymer clay beads were in the pearl and heart category. There may be more, but it’s hard to tell just from the photos. Way to go polymer clay artists!
The winners are chosen by your votes and will appear in the Bead Star magazine! Pick your favorites in each category. Hurry, voting ends June 18th!

Heather, congrats on having two finalists! I have a polymer clay finalist in the “under $25″ category. it’s number 11, the copper mokume gane sunburst.
Congratulations Heather! No surprises though, you’re a talented girl! Maybe one year they’ll actually have a polymer clay category!
