polymer clay shaker egg

For a fun project – a bit of a spin on the regular Easter eggs – here’s a shaker egg project. A few notes: In the tutorial it says to check if your egg is oven-safe. That means, pop it on your baking sheet in the oven and make sure it doesn’t deform in the first half of your baking time or so. Also, make sure your beads for the shaking sound are glass or some other non-melting material.

I make these covered in canes. Works just as sweet!
