These sweet clay heart garlands and decorations would be perfect for Valentine’s Day or DIY wedding decor pieces. Linda, of Burlap & Blue, wrote the tutorial for Violet Hills Weddings. She uses Crayola Model Magic which is an air drying modeling medium geared for younger kids. The finished, dried pieces are velvety textured and very lightweight making them ideal for this sort of piece. Model Magic is inexpensive, easy to use and takes colour really nicely after it cures.
You could do this project with regular air drying clay or oven bake polymer clays as well.
